USNA Maryland Parents Club, it has been a BUSY summer for everyone! We are looking forward to recapping all of the great things going on around the club this summer, as well as chat about what’s to come this fall!

Welcome Picnic Recap

It was a beautiful Saturday, at Sandy Point State Park, as the USNA Maryland Parents Club welcomed 18 incoming Mids and their families to our community! We had fantastic speakers from NAMA, Link in the Chain, USAA, and First Command (as well as our very own President, Shannon Settle). Food was enjoyed, raffles were won, and everyone had a great time!

I-Day

I-Day was another HUGE success this year! We had a ton of amazing volunteers to represent USNA Maryland Parents Club on Hospital Point for the expo. A lot of great conversation and interest was generated and I know we welcomed some great new members to the group!

Our efforts to supply food and support to the International and Unaccompanied Plebes was, to say the very least, an impactful and fantastic event. I am SO PROUD of this team and everything that was done to provide an area of relaxation, fellowship, and calls home.

We were such a hit that even the Superintendent and Master Chief stopped by to say hi!

Do You Know What Time It Is?!?!?!

It’s Tailgate Season and Navy Football is Where You NEED to Be!!!

This year we have 5 Home Games AND Navy/Army in Washington DC! The board has been working on some upgrades to Spot 34 for this season, but we still need your help!

In order to keep our Tailgates amazing, and compete with rising costs, we are asking for those who do not want to volunteer with food or time to make a donation to the Tailgate you are attending.

Please join us on July 31st at 7:00pm for a Zoom Call to chat about the games, the tailgates, and getting some volunteers in place to help support this great time!

Membership Updates

On September 1st, the USNA Maryland Parents Club will be increasing membership prices to the following:

$100 for annual membership

$300 for Lifetime Membership (savings of $100!)

Your membership fees help us support our Midshipmen through I-Day, Sponsor Day, the Midshipmen Express, Commissioning 101 and many other activities!
